BEBCo. Wines Rose - Pinot Noir 2017

Rose made from Pinot Noir and DRY.

Lifted scents of wild strawberries and cream instantly appeals.

A pale hue of red berries highlighted by onion skin coloured edges this Rose is made by direct press and not saignee!

The palate is flooded instantly with red berries and finds a textural mid palate that is pulled along by the nervous acidity and racey viscosity all leading to a savoury finish.

Fermented in stainless steel and transfered to old oak hogs heads for full malolactic fermentation and maturation for six months.

Pinot Noir at altitude with attitude!

Grown at 450 metres above sea level on the southern slopes of Mount Alexander this is cool climate Pinot Noir.

Dark ruby garnet in colour. Wild raspberry and spice perfume lift from the glass confirming a varietal from a cool climate heritage.

The palate is flooded with the red and black fruits of raspberries and cherry layered with a mix of spices.

There is a nervous acidity carried by a presence of bramble supporting the structure of tannins that are fine and elegant.

This wine will develope and show fine maturity with good cellaring. Cellar 5-10 years.

BEBCo. Wines - Syrah 2017

Syrah or Shiraz?

It's a personal choice with no hard and fast rules determining either. But both are made from the same varietal.

BEBCo. 2017 Syrah is grown at 450 metres altitiude and is pared back in structure and displays vibrancey.

Wild red fruits and cake mix spice lift from the glass, the palate is soft and velvety layered with a kaliediscope of red and black fruit entwined with spices and elegant tannins.

There is a savourinous in the mid palate that draws the wine to be accompanied with food.

The belance of fruit weight gives a presence on the palate that finishes clean and supple.

Decanting will allow this wine to show its beauty.
